The Financial Services Authority’s (FSA) mortgage market review was the culmination of many months of consultation with members. Although the FSA only published its formal review in October last year, we had launched in the preceding spring a process of detailed discussion with members on what we believed should emerge from the inevitable process of regulatory reform.
